From the end of january until the middle of march we will be in Thailand with our Akha friends. The purposes of the trip are:

Ø      document and track the various projects of our counterpart AFECT

Ø      deliver to AFECT the funds raised during 2009

Ø      explore the possibility of starting a sustainable tourism project with the cultural exchange as a central point

Ø      explore the possibility of starting a fair trade project with coffee

Ø      buy the Akha handicraft gifts for the current and future members of Udutama

Ø      deepen our knowledge of the Akha culture and document it more thoroughly
